About SENED
SENED is an independent non-governmental and non-profit organization established in 2013 and registered in Turkey with the number 27-15-175. SENED was established by a group of humanitarian and social activists in responding to the Syrians suffer since 2011. SENED has become specialized in working with and supporting people with special needs since 2015 due to the realization of the tremendous tragedy that people with special needs live in Syria through periodic visits to their places.
Job Purpose
Based in Adana, Receptionist / Call Center is under the line management of Project Technical Officer
He/She will be responsible:
o Welcoming beneficiaries in the reception area of the project center, take registrations and implement individual information counselling services
Key Activities/Tasks/Duties
o Welcoming visitors and beneficiaries to the center
o Answering the questions of the visitors about the project activities, filling out the pre-registration form when necessary and entering the filled data into the database via computer
o Helping visitors with special needs to enter and exit the center
o Accompanying children to go safely from activity rooms to shuttle vehicles before and after activities
o Supporting the activities carried out at the center, if needed
o According to the information activities carried out at the center, answer the questions of the beneficiaries who call the center phone and fill in-take form
o Maintain and display brochures/booklets at the project center
o Support the case management team for contacting beneficiaries of IPA and Case Management services
o Support project for Arabic-Turkish verbal and written translations, and some other administrative tasks, if needed.
o Representing organization professionally.
Required Qualifications (Education/Languages/Work Experience):
Essential
Bachelor Degree in Education, Psychology, or any other relevant field.
Advance level in the Arabic language.
Advance level in the Turkish language.
Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in a similar position.
Desirable
Intermediate skills in the English language.
Native level in Arabic and/or Turkish language
Experience working with Persons Living with Disabilities.
Verified experience in humanitarian work and principles.
IT and Equipment
Elementary proficiency with Microsoft package.
