مركز سند في كفرتخاريم ينفذ أنشطة ترفيهية للأطفال ذوي الإعاقة

يقوم مركز منظمة #سند في #كفر_تخاريم لذوي الإعاقة بتنفيذ أنشطة ترفيهية للأطفال حيث يهدف هذا النشاط إلى :
– دمج الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة مع أقرانهم الذين ليسوا من ذوي الإعاقة
– العمل بروح الفريق والتنسيق والتعاون بين الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة والأطفال الذين ليسوا من ذوي الإعاقة.
– أهمية المحافظة على جمال الطبيعة.

SENED NGO signs a memorandum of understanding with Hasan Kalyoncu Üniversitesi

SENED NGO signs a memorandum of understanding with Hasan Kalyoncu Üniversitesi University in Gaziantep, Turkey, for cooperation within the scope of ENHANCER project. The ENHANCER project is funded by the European Union and implemented by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) in coordination with the Directorate General of Development Agencies under the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey.

People with Disabilities issues in Gaziantep

As part of the sened Team’s plan to focus on the issues and needs of people with disabilities

The team visited Valiantep (the governor of Gaziantep) for the purpose of encouraging Eid al-Fitr and requesting meetings in the future to discuss the issues of people with special needs in Gaziantep and their problems. The team offered a bouquet of roses and thanked them for their interest and the opportunity to talk about this category.

At the invitation of the General Federation of Disabled Associations in Turkey, Ankara, sened participated in the World Conference of Turkish People with Disabilities’ Associations, which aimed to discuss the issues of Turkish people with disabilities and their needs, as sened presented a presentation on the situation of Syrian people with special, which they face continuously within Turkey.

The presentation was ended with the following recommendations:

1- Cooperation for advocacy of the issues of the Syrian people with special needs in Turkey.

2 – Providing equal service for Syrians and Turkish people with special needs.

3 – Turkish associations, concerned with special needs, integrate Syrians in their services.

4 – Providing projects for the integration of Syrian people with special needs in the Turkish community.

People with disability and tertiary education

As part of the strategy of sened advocacy group for special needs issues, sened presented a presentation on the most important problems and challenges facing people with special needs to complete their university education at the University of Gaziantep and in the presence of officials from the University of Gaziantep and Istanbul University. In the end, a set of recommendations were presented, the most important of which are:

  • Tomer and Yös courses are free for people with special needs.
  • Determining the proportion of university seats for people with special needs.
  • Providing special grants for people with special needs.
  • Appointing a social psychologist in the universities to follow up the psychological state of people with special needs and help them overcome them.
  • Activating distance education for people with special needs.
