At the invitation of the General Federation of Disabled Associations in Turkey, Ankara, Sened participated in the World Conference of Turkish People with Disabilities’ Associations, which aimed to discuss the issues of Turkish people with disabilities and their needs.

Sened presented a presentation on the situation of Syrian people with special needs, who continuously face numerous challenges within Turkey.

The presentation ended with the following recommendations:

1- Cooperation for the advocacy of the issues of the Syrian people with special needs in Turkey.

2 – Providing equal services for Syrian and Turkish people with special needs.

3 – Turkish associations, concerned with special needs, integrate Syrians in their services.

4 – Providing projects for the integration of Syrian people with special needs in the Turkish community.
